DNAP Strengthens Indonesia–Australia Trade Links at Taste & Trade: Brew Deals Time

South Tangerang, Indonesia — DNAP participated in Taste & Trade: Brew Deals Time, a pre‑TEI 2025 networking forum hosted by Pendopo with support from MS Consultant, CLIK, Indonesia Exim Bank, and the Indonesian Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

The event brought together 15+ international buyers from Australia, the US, China, Egypt, Pakistan, and the Philippines to connect directly with Indonesian MSMEs and exporters.

DNAP’s Managing Director, Mohit Rai, served as the keynote speaker in the talk show “Inside The Buyer’s Mind: What Buyers Are Looking For.” Representing Australian buyers, Mohit highlighted the global demand for Indonesian products that demonstrate:

  • Consistent quality
  • Reliable supply capability
  • Strong brand storytelling
  • Ethical and sustainable production

DNAP continues to support Indonesia’s export growth by building long‑term trade partnerships and helping local businesses scale into the Australian and APAC markets.

DNAP Insights

As global demand for Indonesian products continues to rise, DNAP’s presence at this forum reflects our commitment to strengthening bilateral trade between Indonesia and Australia

Mohit Rai Delivers Key Insights in the Talk Show: “Inside the Buyer’s Mind”

As the key representative for Australian buyers, DNAP Managing Director Mohit Rai was invited as the keynote speaker for the talk show session titled

“Inside The Buyer’s Mind: What Buyers Are Looking For.”

In this session, Mohit shared a clear, practical perspective on what global buyers expect from Indonesian products today:

1. Quality That Matches Global Standards

Buyers are increasingly selective. Consistency, finishing, and reliability are non‑negotiable.

2. Supply Stability and Professionalism

International partners look for exporters who can deliver on time, communicate clearly, and scale responsibly.

3. Authenticity and Brand Storytelling

Products with a strong narrative — rooted in culture, craftsmanship, or sustainability — stand out in competitive markets.

4. Ethical and Sustainable Practices

From slow fashion to eco‑friendly production, global buyers value brands that reflect responsible business practices.

Mohit highlighted that Indonesia has a unique advantage: a rich cultural identity combined with rapidly improving production capability. When these strengths are paired with strong branding and consistent quality, Indonesian MSMEs can compete confidently on the world stage.

Showcasing Ethical Craftsmanship: Rumah Rakuji & EFFA Cinnamon

Before the talk show, attendees were introduced to two standout MSMEs from Pendopo:

  • EFFA Cinnamon, showcasing Indonesia’s natural flavour excellence
  • Rumah Rakuji, presented by founder Myra, demonstrating slow, ethical fashion rooted in craftsmanship and sustainability

These stories reinforced the message shared in Mohit’s keynote: global buyers are not just purchasing products — they are investing in values, identity, and purpose.

DNAP’s Commitment to Strengthening Indonesia–Australia Trade

DNAP continues to play an active role in connecting Indonesian exporters with Australian buyers across categories such as:

  • Ethical fashion
  • Specialty foods
  • Homeware and artisanal goods
  • Natural ingredients
  • Sustainable lifestyle products

Our participation in Taste & Trade reflects our broader mission: to build long‑term, trust‑based trade relationships that elevate local producers and deliver high‑quality, culturally rich products to global markets.

A Step Forward for Indonesia’s Global Trade Ambitions

Taste & Trade: Brew Deals Time demonstrated what is possible when government, industry, and private partners collaborate with a shared purpose. As Pendopo’s Head, Putu Laura, expressed, every initiative that opens doors for MSMEs contributes to Indonesia’s journey toward becoming a globally recognised hub of creativity and quality.

DNAP is proud to support this movement — not just as a buyer, but as a strategic partner committed to helping Indonesian businesses grow, scale, and succeed internationally.
